What should I wear for my family photo session?

My Husband and I are having our photo's done outside at a ski resort (Mt. Hood, OR) So the background will be mostly white. We want to keep it casual and fun. My Husband is wearing dark jeans/black shoes/black pin striped button-up shirt. I'm going to wear dark jeans and some ugg style boots...but I'm not sure for the top...I have a black v-neck sweater, or this black w/ tiny white polka dot shirt (that I love), that I would wear a short- sleeve black shrug with it...which would be better? Do you think it would look funny if I had short sleeves in a winter setting?? need some input...thanks!

Go for the V-neck. I think they are classy and it sounds like it will match your hubby better! Good luck and have fun!
Reply:Don't wear the short sleeves or show any skin in a snow/winter environment. This only looks normal in Playboy...Hehe. You don't have to go with all black just as long as their is plenty of contrast. Any denim would be fine. Even Blues, Earthtones in a medium dark range. Black is actually a little too contrasting but will work. With snow acting as a huge light reflector and the black absorbing light...Just make sure your photog is a good one who knows how to meter. Have fun !!
Reply:umm...yeah, it probably would look a TAD weird to have short sleeves in a winter background. i think you should go for the polka dots though.
Reply:wear matching color tops
