Buying skis and other related items. What are demo skis? Bindings...can they adjust to fit your boot.?
Demo skis are skis which the ski shop has used to lend to people to try them out. Usually they are in better condition than used or rental skis, but worse than new skis.
Bindings can adjust a little bit, but they can also be re-drilled to fit your boots if needed. Demo (or rental) bindings can be adjusted fully for nearly any boot, at the expense of being less stable and more likly to eject.
175 should be pretty good legnth depending on the ski. If you want to make tighter turns, then go as short as 170, but I wouldnt go much shorter than that for most skis. The exception would be a slalom ski that is designed to make very tight, agile turns and so, has to be short. Talk to a ski shop, they will be able to help you best.
