I am getting married in May. What would be the best way to lose pounds and inches?

I cannot afford a gym in this area. I own tennis shoes, hiking boots, it is too snowy to ride my bike. I could rent skis, I have ice skates.

Help!

I am getting married in May. What would be the best way to lose pounds and inches?
Try to eliminate all refined sugar, carbohydrates and processed foods from your diet.

e.g., cakes, cookies, chips, muffin, doughnuts,store-bought fruit juices, soft drinks, frozen foods, ready-made luncheon, etc.

Aim for 6-8 glasses of pure water/day.

Have fresh fruits, and green vegetables. Go for low sugar content fruits, e.g. berries, cherry, kiwi are good choices. Not more than two serving/day.

Instead of having big meals, try small portions , 5-6 /day.

Have lean protein, with steamed vegetables, 1 cup - for your meals.

Get a Green food supplements- have a scoop/day - preferably in the morning - to get the toxins out of your body and helps with bowel movements.

Grab a "Pilate's" video/CD - and follow the exercise program. - to strenghten your core muscles.
Reply:Thank you Goldista-I will try all of these-not just until my wedding, but for the rest of my life. Report It

Reply:eat nothing but lean meats, vegetables and fruits, whole grain breads and drink lots of water......no junk food, no sodas, no fruit drinks...nothing with high fructose corn syrup in it.....you could jump rope, buy a small indoor trampoline, tae bo or kickboxing, they all use all your muscles and burn alot of calories
Reply:Try the local parks %26amp; recreation district, they usually offer all sorts of exercise classes pretty cheap %26amp; sometimes even have their own gyms that are pretty inexpensive for residents.

You should also talk to your doctor to get help setting up a realistic diet %26amp; exercise program to help you achieve your fitness goals. I always find it easier to follow a plan than to try to wing it =)

Good luck %26amp; congrats on the wedding!
Reply:If you are not completely overweight try pilates (stretching) After 2 weeks of doing stretches that I remember from high school P.E. I have already lost one pants size. It really does work. You can also cut down on red meat and try tuna, chicken, turkey and fish.
Reply:give weight watchers a go. i lost 9kgs in 18 weeks. u got plenty of time to shed some kilos.
