What's the best way to dispose of old cross country skis? Donate?Trash?Sell? SF Bay Area?

These were once top-of-the-line skis. But, the binding design, which is now obsolete, requires boots that can work with this specific binding. I no longer have these boots. It would be a shame to just trash such great skis. I'm moving and need to get rid of all my stuff.

Freecycle

Is a way to recycle by offering your old stuff to people who want it for free.

Reply:Just drop them off at your nearest donation thrift shop. They'll even give you a receipt for their value and that amount is tax deductible. Make sure to keep your receipt with your tax documents.
Reply:donate them to a local ski shop, who could then re-sell them, or at least know what to do w/them.
